Inkiltambo Hike

Hike to Machu Choquequirao and encounter terraces and temples along the way.

9:00 AM-3:00 PM

At 9:00 a.m., we will meet at the Plaza de Armas in Cusco.

At 9:15 a.m., our transportation will pick us up at Plaza Regocijo, which is just 2 minutes from the Plaza de Armas, and then head to the Inkiltambo entrance, which will take approximately 20 minutes.

At 9:45 a.m., we will begin our walk to Machu Choquequirao, a place full of mystery with terraces shaped like pyramids. During the walk, we will learn about the medicinal plants of the area. We will arrive at Machu Choquequirao at 11:00 a.m., where we will have a few minutes to rest before continuing our journey to Inkiltambo.

On the way to Inkiltambo, we will encounter more terraces and a river that will accompany us throughout the journey, surrounded by nature. We will reach our destination, Inkiltambo, at 12:30 p.m. There, we will receive an explanation of the temples, terraces, and get a close look at the impressive Inca architecture. After the explanation, we will sit down to enjoy some snacks, drink water, and relax.

At 1:30 p.m., after resting, we will begin our return to the Inkiltambo exit. We will reach the main road at 2:30 p.m., where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Plaza Regocijo. We expect to arrive at Plaza Regocijo at approximately 3:00 p.m.
